A woman’s younger siblings desire a serious history lesson after now not knowing who the overdue rapper Tupac Shakur was or that his case had been reopened.

Many content creators have found a career out of sharing how polar opposite every era can be within the place of job, in relationships, and, it appears, in what’s considered “popular culture.”

In October 2023, Gen Z let me down as soon as again when two in their members had no thought who popular culture and hip-hop icon Tupac Shakur was, nor the main points surrounding his Sept. 7, 1996 murder.

Having intergenerational siblings is beautiful interesting. Some of my siblings are older and within the Gen X vary, while my younger sibs are either millennials like me or Gen Z. Brittany made this horrific discovery when she and her siblings frolicked in the living room. Brittany’s TikTok opened with her telling her more youthful sister to copy the query she requested off-camera. Her sister noticed she was recording and begrudgingly requested: “What’s Tupac’s homicide?”

As Brittany laughs at her sibling, her sister smiles thru her frustration and asks, “What is it?” Their different sister, who is mendacity on another sofa, then repeats the query slower, which sounded like “Twopock Smurder?”

Still beside herself, Brittany says she was telling her sister, “Someone was arrested for Tupac’s homicide,” discussing Duane Keith “Keefe D” Davis being arrested for Tupac’s dying, marking the primary arrest for the crime since 1996.

Despite Brittany’s clarification, her sisters reputedly still had no thought who she was talking about, which brought about a relatable “Oh my God” and “Jesus Christ” out of her and anyone within the background.

In conventional Gen Z fashion (sorry, however not sorry!), instead of admitting they didn’t know what their sister was talking about, the women deflected and prompt they “prevent talking about homicide” of any kind. Then, the primary sister who posed the question, nonetheless confused, asked her Apple Watch, “What is Tupac’s murder?” I’m. Done.

After sharing her TikTok of her willfully ignorant siblings, Brittany captioned the video, “Tell me you have Gen Z siblings with out telling me.” Although Brittany blamed the women’ age for the grave mistake, many commenters, like myself, believed they needed a significant history lesson.
