Why is Jack mad at Hope in 'Virgin River'?

As anyone living in the tiny the city of Virgin River may just tell you, Hope’s got a big mouth. But to know the name of the game that the mayor spilled, we have to go back to Jack’s previous prior to Mel arrived in Virgin River.

It seems that prior to Mel’s arrival in the small the town, Jack was once dating Charmaine (Lauren Hammersley). But while Jack concept the connection used to be an informal one, it was once a lot more serious for Charmaine, who ended up catching emotions and telling Jack that she liked him right through a town amassing.

Sadly for Charmaine, Jack was developing emotions for Virgin River’s latest resident, Mel, and he wasn’t ready to say those 3 phrases again to Charmaine. However, ahead of Season 1 wrapped up, Charmaine dropped the bombshell news that she used to be pregnant with twins and naturally, they were Jack’s.

Fast ahead to Season 2 and the love triangle between Jack, Mel, and Charmaine has gotten much more difficult. In the hopes that she and Jack would still finally end up in combination, Charmaine comes to a decision to inform Jack about her being pregnant in a letter, as an alternative of having a conversation face-to-face.

Unfortunately for Charmaine, Jack puts off studying the letter for months and in the meantime, the meddlesome mayor of Virgin River, Hope, gets concerned.

After studying the letter, Hope inadvertently tells Mel about it, main Mel to place two and two together about Jack, Charmaine, and the being pregnant — all before Jack can provide an explanation for his aspect of the story. When Jack unearths out that Hope went at the back of his again to inform Mel in regards to the letter, he becomes outraged at Hope and comes to a decision to chop Hope out of his lifestyles for good.

Charmaine’s pregnancy is extremely difficult information for Mel to take in because of her personal terribly sad contemporary pregnancy that ended in a stillbirth and which she’s still processing emotionally. Mel makes a decision that she will’t stick around Virgin River anymore, for the reason that Jack has a chance to have a family, which is the only thing she will’t give him.

Despite the truth that Jack admits to Mel that he’s falling in love with her, she asks him for house, and after he leaves her home, she begins packing her luggage.

Audiences will just have to see what happens with Mel and Jack in Season 3 of Virgin River.
