Who officiates Citra and Sam's wedding on '90 Day Fiancé'?

In the unique clip, tensions arise when Citra's father meets with the pair to discuss their wedding. Language limitations exacerbate the location, as Sam speaks handiest English, resulting in awkward moments.

Citra informs her father that a pastor will officiate their wedding, to which he reacts relatively unfavorably: "We already did that at the mosque," he says. Sam, feeling uncomfortable, learns of the change from Citra.

"I saw Herman's face, like, he was not happy when he found out about a Christian pastor marrying us," Sam states in a confessional, pointing out how "everything just went sideways."

Despite Citra's explanation that they are now not adhering to Christian traditions, her father insists the wedding will have to align with Islamic customs. Citra tells him, "The Imam had been invited but couldn't make it because of short notice," including that the pastor is "the only one available around here who can legally officiate our wedding."

Ultimately, Herman refuses to simply accept a ceremony involving any holy e book other than the Quran. Feeling defeated, the glad couple realizes they will have to cancel the pastor.

Later, in a separate confessional, Sam expresses surprise on the issue: "I didn't even realize that it would be a problem having a Christian pastor marry us," he tells the cameras. "There's no time, and we can't put this off ... I don't have the slightest clue how I'm gonna find someone in an hour to marry us, but I have to figure it out somehow."
