There Is a New Vampire Heading to Mystic Falls on 'Legacies' — What to Know About Sebastian!

The Salvatore Boarding School for the Young and Gifted will have a new student beginning this year at the supernatural school. The Vampire Diaries spin-off Legacies returns for a brand new season and whilst Hope Mikaelson’s (Danielle Rose Russell) buddies (and the world) have forgotten about her after she sacrificed herself in Malivore’s pit, one vampire will for sure have the scholars’ consideration in Mystic Falls.  

An excessively, very old vampire (though he was turned as a youngster) can be pressured to navigate the global of the twenty first century after being desiccated (they’re unable to move) for hundreds of years. "We really want to bring in an old, old, old-world vampire," Julie Plec told TV Guide. 

She continued, "But we want to introduce a vampire who kind of got desiccated when he was 17 in maybe the 15th century and now wakes up in the 21st century and realizes that all the rules of being a vampire have changed and that he does not fit in into this very modern world." 

So, who is Sebastian on Season 2 of Legacies? Thomas Doherty takes on the position as the teenage vampire that has come to Mystic Falls … and it appears, he’s stuck the eyes of one explicit classmate.

"Lizzie [Saltzman] develops feelings for him very quickly," Jenny Boyd informed TV Guide. "He's kind of an Ian Somerhalder type — smoldery, old-school guy — so that's definitely her jam... He's a little bit 'Smolderhalder' 2.0, you know? He's got that vibe, that really sexy, just impossibly beautiful human type of thing going on."

Teasing the imaginable relationship between the pair, Jenny instructed the outlet: "Lizzie obviously has strong opinions about everything, so we'll see how that plays out in their relationship. Adding, "It's more or less that line between lust and hate at times, possibly. You know this factor of, like, 'Oh, I in point of fact like you, however I don't like that I such as you.'" Well, we certainly can’t wait to watch how Sebastian reacts to Lizzie’s strong 21st century personality.

While it’s easy to see how Thomas’ good looks can be comparable to the infamous “Smolderhalder” (Ian’s nickname on The Vampire Diaries), the actor only has eyes for his former Disney co-star Dove Cameron. The longtime couple is not shy about expressing their love for one another on social media.
