In the long-awaited 3rd season of Outer Banks, our favourite treasure-loving teenagers in finding themselves at the center of some other dangerous (and life-threatening) situation. But, in contrast to its past two seasons, there are fewer fake-out deaths — we will never forgive Netflix for making us think our liked JJ was a goner in Season 2.

However, that's not to mention everybody makes it out alive this time round. In truth, several game-changing deaths will alternate the whole lot. With that said, who dies in Season 3 of Outer Banks? Keep reading to determine.

Who dies in Season 3 of 'Outer Banks'?

The hunt for the treasure of El Dorado grows an increasing number of bad; consequently, a number of characters meet their death. In the Season 3 premiere, titled "Poguelandia," fans bid farewell to Jimmy Portis (Kraig Dane), the plane pilot who discovers the Pogues on the island. He reports this to Singh, who kills Portis for permitting the Pogues to flee.

In the fourth episode, John B and Big John have a run-in with two of Singh's henchmen. Big John makes an attempt to barter a deal, but the two secretly plan to kill John B and produce Big John to Singh. However, earlier than they may be able to execute their plan, Big John shoots them useless. He kills any other certainly one of Singh's males, Rod, in Episode 8 by way of throwing him out a window.

Episode 6 sees Big John reunite together with his old mentor, Tommy Sowell — he's a professor who studies the mythical treasure of El Dorado. John B manages to flee, however Big John will get captured through Singh.

After he cuts a deal with Ward for information in change for Sarah's protection, Singh comes upon John B and Sarah. But, as a substitute of following through with the settlement, he holds the teenagers at gunpoint. Big John shows up and threatens to explode the cave with a stick of dynamite. Singh believes Big John is bluffing, but he tosses the instrument and it explodes in Singh's arms — ouch.

The trio narrowly escapes, however Ward comes out of nowhere and threatens to shoot and kill Big John. The rest of the Pogues arrive, and eventually, Sarah manages to disarm her father and takes the gun. One of Singh's last mercenaries, Ryan, appears out of nowhere and points his gun at Sarah. He's seconds away from killing her, however Ward sacrifices himself.

Ryan fires 3 shots sooner than he and Ward fall off a cliff to their deaths.

In the aftermath of the chaos, Big John begins shedding consciousness — if you recall, Singh shoots him right through their battle previous in the episode. He's been bleeding out ever since, and his condition worsens after Ward dies. The loved Pogues immediately get him into a boat, but Big John dies earlier than he can obtain medical attention.

In the finish, the crew pays tribute through protecting a small funeral for Big John and Ward in the jungle.
