So, where was 'Chasing Waterfalls' filmed?

Like many Hallmark motion pictures, Chasing Waterfalls was filmed in Canada, a popular spot for its sweeping natural perspectives and the impulsively expanding film trade in Vancouver. (Although Hallmark is headquartered in Kansas City, Mo.)

However, for Chasing Waterfalls, filming took place just a little outside the standard filming places and came about in Maple Ridge, British Columbia. What audiences would possibly not know is that British Columbia is host to no less than seven different nationwide parks all with stunning perspectives, lush greenery, and sure, waterfalls. While unconfirmed, it's most likely filming came about in many various places to get the easiest shot.

Filming took place in late 2020, so solid and crew participants would have needed to be careful about keeping up social-distancing pointers and take coronavirus precautions before filming. Thankfully, being out in nature is rather much less risky than filming on a soundstage in a closed indoor house, so Chasing Waterfalls is ideally suited to the present times.

What is 'Chasing Waterfalls' about?

Not most effective does Chasing Waterfalls take its title from the iconic TLC tune of the similar identify, the premise is moderately other than many other Hallmark movies of the similar genre. According to Hallmark.com, "Photographer Amy travels to a remote lodge to find mythical waterfalls and falls for handsome guide, Mark. They adventure to find the mystic waterfall and discover their true feelings." 

Actress Cindy Busby performs Amy, and Christopher Russell performs Mark. Cindy and Christopher have been in several different Hallmark films together, including Love within the Forecast, so you already know their chemistry is going to be off the charts. Also featured in outstanding roles are Cassidy Nugent as Kyra North, Akiz Aguma because the hunter, and Frank Cassini as the shopkeeper.

As for performing with Cindy, Christopher had nothing but nice words for his co-star.

"I do 100% love working with Cindy, as some people you just click with right away," told MediaVillage in regards to the movie and said. "People mention the word chemistry, and that could be [either] male or female. It doesn't matter. It's about clicking — knowing the rhythm of the script, or the pace, and not even needing to talk about it." 

Christopher also hinted that the name of the film is not only a a laugh tune, it is a metaphor: "[Y]ou're never gonna catch [one] because it just keeps moving. The dream of doing more with your career, and it just seems out of reach like with Cindy's character, who feels she's been chasing waterfalls her whole life."

Audiences will simply have to look for themselves how things turn out.

Chasing Waterfalls premieres Saturday, Mar. 20, 2021, at 9 p.m. ET on Hallmark Channel.
