Newcomer Cat Baugh Makes Dramatic Exit on 'Below Deck' Season 11 — What Happened?

From the beginning of Season 11, Cat Baugh apparently had problems aboard the St. David, and unfortunately, it got to her.

Before Cat Baugh joined the ranks on Below Deck, she had never worked on any such large yacht. Sure, she had experience, however the reality TV novice almost certainly did not know what she was once up towards when she used to be solid in the Bravo collection. Now, with problems amongst Cat and different St. David yachties and her inexperience getting her into trouble, many puzzled if Cat would quit Below Deck one day in Season 11.

The 11th season of the long-running reality show welcomes a handful of recent crew contributors who are also new to the series as an entire. In that regard, Cat is not alone. However, she butted heads with fellow stew Barbie Pascual early on, and issues do not get more uncomplicated from there. What can we say — no longer everyone is minimize out for the super-yacht life.

Did Cat quit 'Below Deck'?

During Season 11, Episode 7, Cat left the St. David and the sequence for "personal reasons." In the same episode, bosun Jared Woodin was also fired, which Captain Kerry Titheradge had planned, however he was shocked to learn Cat used to be leaving. As for what Cat's "personal reasons" have been are unclear, however she reputedly had some trauma aboard and had to remove herself from the location ASAP.

In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Captain Kerry mentioned Cat's unexpected dramatic exit, claiming that he knew she was once struggling, but did not realize how bad things had been for her.

"I knew that [Cat] was having challenges by just seeing her move around. I'm surprised by how much trouble she was having at the job and how gracious Xandi was in training her. But it breaks my heart to see how much Cat was crying. And then she would come out and have to put a brave face on," he defined.

The seasoned captain shared that upon discovering that Cat used to be in a difficult state of affairs, he right away took motion by way of alerting the port keep watch over, local Coast Guard, and everyone else he may think of. He could tell from her expression that the location was dire, and he didn't want to know the main points to keep in mind that it was once catastrophic for her.

"And that's something else I've learned on my journey, which is that it's real to that person who's going through it. It doesn't matter if it doesn't affect you or how insignificant it may seem. It's real to them," Captain Kerry stated.

He added: "That's probably the fastest departure in Below Deck history."

Where is Cat Baugh now?

In the same interview, Captain Kerry told EW that Cat is on the mend. "She's having a hard time seeing herself where she's at. But she said she's in a pretty good headspace. And I've shown her support — I say, look, if you need someone to talk to, I'm always here."

As for her private lifestyles, Cat seems to be making some recollections together with her friends, clear of the general public eye. Per her Instagram, she may be dating a man named Cole Carlton.
