Famed Las Vegas entertainer Siegfried Fischbacher died on Wednesday, Jan. 13 — 8 months after the death of his onstage partner, Roy Horn — however what happened to Siegfried and Roy’s tigers?

Turns out, many of the lions and tigers from Siegfried and Roy’s a success Vegas display are still in Sin City, at a habitat the duo arrange at their Mirage house base…

Many of the cats are now on display in Las Vegas.

According to Las Vegas Magazine, many of the tigers and lions that gave the impression on level with the duo — plus leopards and panthers — are now stored at Siegfried & Roy’s Secret Garden and Dolphin Habitat, an enchantment at The Mirage in Las Vegas, Nev., the similar on line casino where Siegfried and Roy performed from 1990 to 2003.

“Our undertaking is to improve guests’ figuring out and appreciation of the animals and the environments in which they are living. This is completed by highlighting the human-animal bond, bringing animals and other people together thru continued education and analysis,” the habitat says on its official website.

The habitat is in its thirtieth 12 months.

“Siegfried & Roy’s Secret Garden and Dolphin Habitat opened in 1990 with a focus on medical research, training and conservation outreach,” the web page adds. “The animals are ambassadors for his or her species and ecosystems, and we take every measure to ensure their well being and well-being.”

The habitat welcomed four tiger cubs in 2015, because the Los Angeles Times reported at the time: Liberty, an all-white female; Maharani, a white feminine with stripes; Hirah, a golden feminine with stripes; and Justice, a golden male.

Unfortunately, Liberty and Justice both died of kidney failure later that 12 months. “All of us in the Siegfried & Roy animal family are devastated by the lack of those two majestic cubs, learn a Facebook commentary posted on Roy’s behalf. “In the quick time we had with them, they touched the hearts of folks around the globe … With this loss we are tragically reminded of the fragility of life for all of God’s creatures and our life-long dedication to conservation will perpetually be inspired by means of Liberty and Justice.”

Carole Baskin’s Big Cat Rescue forged doubt on the Siegfried & Roy cats’ “allegedly idyllic lifestyles.”

In 2019, a Big Cat Rescue blog post — one that is unsigned but most likely written via CEO and Tiger King topic Carole Baskin — criticized a recent 20/20 profile on Siegfried and Roy and forged doubt on their cats’ wellbeing.

“Instead of unveiling scenes of Roy kissing and riding tigers over and over and tigers lounging at the grounds and pools and the allegedly idyllic existence at Magic Garden, they might have interviewed actual mavens (not me) about what lifestyles is actually like for those animals, many of whom reportedly spend maximum of their time in a warehouse,” the post reads.

“The show stated they have 52 tigers on 7 acres called the Magic Garden. Only about 5 have been shown. Why didn’t they get to look throughout the warehouse where insiders say the tigers are stockpiled in barren cages? Siegfried and Roy owe their popularity and fortune to those cats. What do the cats have to turn for his or her sacrifices?”

Nevertheless, Siegfried & Roy’s Secret Garden and Dolphin Habitat continues to welcome guests Thursdays via Sundays at The Mirage, and the on line casino hasn’t announced any trade to its opening time table after Siegfried’s demise.
