Kellogg Dealt With a Rice Krispies Urine Scandal and Most of the Public Was Oblivious

A TikTok video has introduced new mild to a scandal that noticed a Kellogg employee urinate on Rice Krispies merchandise that had been later bought to consumers.

On Sept. 25, TikToker @alyssacardib shared a video on the platform detailing a shocking incident that involved a Kellogg employee, Rice Krispies, and urine. Alyssa went on to show that nobody in her class had heard of the scandal, before being instructed the tale. Alyssa means that the public family members group at Kellogg did a just right activity “covering up” the incident, but that's not utterly true. The Rice Krispies urine scandal video emerged in 2016.

According to WREG, the video which showed a man urinating on Rice Krispies didn't begin to circulate online until 2016. In a remark released by Kellogg, the incident happened at a manufacturing unit in Memphis. The company also defined that when the urination scandal came about in 2014, Kellogg was in the center of a sour dispute with the exertions union that represents their factory employees.

“Our investigation published that the video was recorded at our Memphis, Tenn. facility in 2014. Products that can have been potentially affected were Rice Krispies Treats, Rice Krispies Treats cereal, and puffed rice cake merchandise,” Kellogg stated.

The man was later known as Gregory Stanton. Gregory was charged with tampering with a client product, and he pleaded responsible to the crime. In May 2019, Gregory was sentenced to ten months in jail and was ordered to pay $10,000 in restitution, Insider reviews.

Urinating manufacturing unit workers have change into not unusual.

In 2018, an incident similar to the Rice Krispies urine scandal took place in Virginia. An employee at Smithfield Foods processing plant was captured on video urinating on the flooring of the meeting room. And whilst the worker did not urinate on the meals products, the unsanitary act compelled the company to discard more than 50,000 pounds of meals, in line with Daily Mail. Smithfield showed that the incident came about at their plant and but didn't reveal the worker’s identification.
