Aunt Chippy was born on Aug. 22, 1939, in Brooklyn, N.Y. There's little to no information about her upbringing, but she married NYPD police officer Frank Potenza and later relocated to Las Vegas. The couple, who had three kids together, divorced in the mid-'90s after 28 years of marriage but remained very close buddies till Frank's dying in 2011.
Uncle Frank was once a common on-camera talent for Jimmy Kimmel Live!, and Aunt Chippy joined a little later. While on the display, they teamed up for a collection of duties ranging from self-defense courses to dairy farming.
Over the years, Jimmy has pulled countless pranks on his Aunt Chippy. From hiring a staff of other folks to paint her house bright orange to scaring the hell out of her repeatedly on her 80th birthday, it seems Aunt Chippy is the late-night communicate display host's primary goal on the display. Nevertheless, Aunt Chippy were given Jimmy again a few times.
Aunt Chippy is on 'The Golden Bachelor' for a good time, no longer a long time.
Aunt Chippy made her presence identified just about halfway in the course of the first episode of The Golden Bachelor, telling Gerry he must be "the unluckiest man alive." She instructed Gerry she wanted to satisfy him, and by chance, her nephew were given her at the show. Gerry requested who her nephew used to be, and she or he dropped the comedian's identify.
They had a good chortle together prior to Aunt Chippy made her manner into the mansion, the place she jokingly informed the other women she was once "in the wrong place." Unfortunately, she did not have a lot display time because, sooner or later, she fell asleep — are you able to blame her? It was truly overdue!
