Is Rand alThor Just a Sheepherder on The Wheel of Time, or the Dragon Reborn?

As Amazon’s The Wheel of Time introduces us to its magical global, we meet Moiraine (Rosamund Pike), a girl who can channel the One Power. Only ladies can handle the energy; men haven’t been ready to ever since Lews Therin Telamon, the mythic Dragon of the prior age, broke the world millennia prior.
Now, Moiraine believes one of 5 young Two Rivers villagers is the prophesied Dragon Reborn, the one that may wreck or save the international. But who is it, Wheel of Time fanatics? Rand al’Thor, possibly?
Maybe so, maybe not. But in the intervening time, Rand doesn’t agree with Moiraine, as Amazon says in a personality bio: “Her veiled intentions, and the forces of evil that appear to follow her, make her a threat in his eyes. He is brash, impulsive, and impossibly stubborn, however he’s driven to protect the ones he loves. If he’s no longer the one Moiraine seeks, he will nonetheless do the entirety in his energy to save lots of them from no matter she has deliberate. Actor Josha Stradowski says he plays Rand as just a sheepherder, not a hero.

In my boot, it says, ‘Rand - Hero,’ which I don’t really like. I just want him to be … just a sheepherder.”
The characters “feel actual and human,” even in the fantastical surroundings, Josha says.
Rand and the other Wheel of Time characters “really feel actual and human,” Josha instructed newshounds recently, in keeping with Winter Is Coming. “And although its delusion, I am hoping you can in reality relate to them.
