"And it is great to look that it is not just a Broadway thing; it's the complete nation this is experiencing this story," Doug stated in an interview with Town & Country.

There was some back-and-forth on when the Broadway play would be converted to a movie, originally not happening until 2021. However, if the novel coronavirus gave us one good thing, it's the earlier than anticipated release of Hamilton.
