We requested the Masked Singer alum how she handles life when occasions get difficult. According to her, she leans on her relationships with God, her friends, and most importantly, herself.
“I did not want to test in with others because I didn't want to really feel like I used to be a burden. And I wasn't checking in with myself as a result of I did not actually wish to keep it actual with myself,” Michelle explained in her chat with Distractify. “But I'm so thankful to be in the house that I'm in [now]. I’m aligned with people who fit my core values.”

“All the relationships that I have, we assist each other stay sturdy, you know, to get through seasons,” the singer added. It used to be those relationships that helped Michelle see the silver lining after she was identified with chronic melancholy at 30 years previous.
Roughly a decade later, she was compelled to face her mental well being struggles head-on.

Following her cut up along with her ex-fiancé — Chad Johnson — in 2018, the singer-songwriter enrolled herself in a remedy facility, the place she took time to concentrate on her mental health.
